Okay… Hello again… Another weekend…. Another language… This weekend… English… Let´s start our challenges abhout England in english…. As always, the weekend challenge consists of three parts

Can you…? prepare a delicious typical english apple crumble?

Recipe: Apple Crumble  

230g flour

120g butter

100g sugar

1 pinch of salt

2 apples

4 tablespoons of brown sugar

a little butter to grease

That’s how it’s done:

  • Mix the flour, butter, sugar and the pinch of salt. Knead until crumbs form.  
  • Cut the apples into quarters, peel them, cut them in half again and cut these into slices.  
  • You grease the large baking dish. You preheat the oven to 200 degrees (top and bottom heat).
  • Put the apples into the baking dish and sprinkle the brown sugar over them. Then cover with the sprinkles. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes!
  • Enjoy your meal!
